Johannes Be won the sprint in Kontiolahti, Prima is 30th

Norwegian Legrade and German Res are on the podium

Norwegian biathlete Johannes Be won the sprint race on the first stage World Cup in Kontiolahti. The best among Ukrainians was Artem Primawhich showed the 30th result.

The Norwegian had one miss in standing shooting. The advantage in speed was enough for him to be 10 seconds ahead of another Norwegian biathlete, Sturla Legrade. The bronze was won by Roman Res from Germany.

Prima, who made one miss on the rack, lost a minute and 46 seconds to the winner. Bogdan Tsymbal showed the 36th result, Taras Lesyuk – 40th, Anton Dudchenko – 59th, Denis Nasyko became 84th.

The women’s sprint will also take place on Saturday. Olena Bilosyuk (No. 10 of the starting list), Daria Blashko (No. 29), Anna Krivonos (No. 65) and Irina Petrenko (No. 78) will start the race at 14:45.
