Double Olympic medalist Eugenie Medvedeva believes that the figure skating show jumping tournament should be held in Russia.
The Russian show jumping championship took place on December 3 and 4 in Saint Petersburg. figure skaters led Evgenia Plushenko won the team tournament. Among women, she became the best Kamila Valieva for men – Grigory Fedorov.
– It seems to me that it is in Russian figure skating that such a tournament should take place, because in principle it is possible. It is our athletes, especially the girls, who have a set of jumps to compete in such a competition.

– Why?
– Because figure skating is not just about jumping. And all the focus is just on jumping elements.
– Let’s do this: you can say what you want, but which competitions to organize and which not to organize – only the Figure Skating Federation decides. Therefore, we can only talk. And they should do what they have according to the regulations,” Medvedeva told Sport 24.
Medvedeva is 23 years old, she is double champion of the world, Europe and Russia.
