Moscow biathlete Daria Netbay told how she decided on the second race of the day in the second stage of the Russian Cup.
Netbay earlier on Sunday teamed up with Matvey Eliseev in a single-mix. In the classic mixed relay, she ran the first leg.
“Running two races on the same day is difficult. But I expanded the zone of my patience. It’s great, which means that now, in the next races, I will be easier. It’s the first time in my career. It’s an experience you want to try, but you don’t know if you want to repeat (laughs).
– Was the decision made independently or out of desperation, because there are not so many girls in the Moscow team?
– Both. Discussed with the coach, they said to run according to the sensations. I think I did the job. Shot well done. I’m happy to be out, I’m happy to have worked. It’s a good experience.
