Elvira Oeberg won the women’s pursuit in Annecy, Merkushina – 36th

The Swede beat the closest rival by more than 20 seconds

In Annecy (France) women’s pursuit at the third stage of the 2022/23 Biathlon World Cup.

Sweden’s Elvira Oeberg won the race with a clean shooting finish in 29:42.4. Italy’s Lisa Vittozzi finished second, 20.4 seconds behind Oeberg. Bronze medal – Frenchwoman Julie Simon.

The best of the Ukrainians was Anastasia Merkushina, who finished 36th. At the same time, the representative of Ukraine did not make a single mistake in the shooting. Daria Blashko finished 48th with four penalties, Elena Bilosyuk was 55th with three shooting errors.

The stage in Annecy will end tomorrow, December 18, with the men’s and women’s mass starts.
