Austrian Hauser wins women’s mass start in Annecy

Silver and bronze for French women

Austrian biathlete Lisa-Teresa Houser won women’s mass start at the third stage of the World Cup in Annecy.

The Austrian shot best of all at the last firing line and confidently held the lead until the finish line. In the fight for silver, Julia Simon was ahead of her compatriot Anais Chevalier-Boucher. Sweden’s Elvira Oeberg finished fourth.

Recall that the Ukrainian biathletes did not qualify for the race with a mass start at this stage.
