The athlete is expected to the stage in Pokljuka in January
Ukrainian biathlete Artem Prima will miss championship of Ukraine-2022/23which will be held in Yavoriv from 22 to 26 December.
According to the coach of the men’s national team of Ukraine Yuray Sanitra, the athlete must heal an old injury. We are talking about damage, due to which Artem missed the individual race at the first stage of the World Cup in Kontiolahti. Prima hopes to be back in action for the round in Pokljuka, which will take place from 5 to 8 January.
The remaining representatives of the main team (Anton Dudchenko, Bogdan Tsymbal, Vitaly Mandzin and Taras Lesyuk) will perform at the national championship. Recall that after the championship of Ukraine, Dudchenko will perform in the Christmas race in Gelsenkirchen on December 28.
Prima showed the best result of the season among Ukrainians, finishing in tenth position in the Annecy pursuit. Artem managed to get into the race with a mass start at the third stage of the World Cup.
