French biathletes Julia Simon and Fabien-Claude became the winners of the “Christmas Race”, which took place in Gelsenkirchen (Germany).
Simon and Claude twice missed the shooting range and set a time of 33 minutes 41.6 seconds. Norwegians Ingrid Tandrevold and Vetle-Sjastad Christiansen (+33.8) finished second in the mass start. The leading trio was closed by the Austrians Lisa Teresa Hauser and Felix Leitner (+45.4).
Russian biathletes did not participate in the competition.
