Johannes Be won the sprint in Pokljuka, Tishchenko in the top 30

Two Ukrainians made their way into the pursuit race

Today, January 6th, at Pokljuka passed men’s sprint race within the fourth stage biathlon world cup.

The winner of the sprint was the leader of the overall World Cup standings Johannes Be. The Norwegian had one penalty on the shooting range and finished in 23:55.9.

Johannes is 48.1 seconds ahead of his brother Tarja Be, which took second place. The third was another representative of Norway – Sturla Legrade.

The best result among Ukrainians showed Artem Tishchenko – 30th place. Bogdan Tsymbal became 59th, Taras Lesyuk – 68th, Ruslan Tkalenko – 80th.

Note that Anton Dudchenko and Vitaliy Mandzyn miss the stage in Pokljuka due to illness.

On Saturday, January 7, women’s and men’s pursuit races will be held in Pokljuka. The beginning is at 12:30 and 15:45 Kyiv time. On Sunday, the single-mixed and mixed relay will take place.
