Johannes Be won the pursuit in Pokljuka, the Ukrainians are out of the top 40

The Norwegian won more than a minute against Fillon Maillet

Biathlon World Cup overall leader Johannes Be became the winner pursuit race at the stage in Slovenian Pokljuka.

Johannes, who started first after winning the sprint, had two misses on the shooting range. The Norwegian was just over a minute ahead of the Frenchman Cantena Fillon Maillet. Another representative of Norway finished third Tarja Be.

Two Ukrainians competed in the pursuit race. Artem Tishchenkowho started 30th, had two penalties to finish 42nd. Bogdan Tsymbal with two misses became 57th.

The women’s pursuit race also took place in Pokljuka today. The winner was the Swedish Elvira Oeberg.

On Sunday, January 8, a single-mixed and mixed relay will take place in Pokljuka. Races start at 12:45 and 15:25 Kyiv time.
