Double Olympic champion Svetlana Ichmuratova believes that the strongest women’s biathlon team was in Russia between 2000 and 2007.
Earlier, world champion Anton Babikov in an interview with said that he considers the Russian men’s team of the 2012-2013 model to be the strongest team.
– Regarding the performance of the men’s team, I agree with Anton here. If we talk about the women’s team, I think it’s the period from 2000 to 2007. There were good performances in relay and PM. Second place in the relay was considered a poor performance then, Ishmuratova told a correspondent.
