France won the mixed relay in Pokljuka, Ukraine – 11th

Italy finished second, Sweden third

national team France won the mixed relay at the stage biathlon world cup in Slovenian Pokljuka.

The French (Fabien Claude, Quentin Fillon Maillet, Anais Chevalier-Boucher, Jules Simon) used seven extra rounds and were forced to run one penalty loop. However, the speed was enough to be 24 seconds ahead of the Italian team, which took second place. The Swedish team finished third 47 seconds after the winners.

The national team of Ukraine Bogdan Tsymbal, Ruslan Tkalenko, Daria Blashko and Yulia Jima took 11th place. Our team used 13 extra rounds and was over five minutes behind France.

Earlier in Pokljuka, the Norwegian duo of Vetle-Sjastad Kristiansen and Ingrid Tandrevold won the Super Mix. Ukrainians Artem Tishchenko and Anastasia Merkushina finished in seventh place.

The fifth stage of the World Cup will be held in Ruhpolding. The competition will be opened by the men’s individual race on January 11.
