On Tuesday, RBU’s press service chief Sergei Averyanov told that Rostovtsev had been hired by RBU as head coach of the Russian national team. In 2011-2014, Rostovtsev worked as a coach for the Russian women’s team.
– We worked with Pavel Aleksandrovich when I was his ward in a team with Wolfgang Pichler. And there was a season after the Olympics. And we raced together when he became world champion, and we also became world champions that year. In other words, we went through more than one tournament together. He has always been a good business leader, he is a professional. Its achievements and results speak for themselves. When we worked, he was responsible for shooting training. At the bend, we not only had order, we also worked a lot with the wind calculator, analyzed the ballistics a lot. He brought us a lot on the technical side.
