Biathlon: Four Ukrainians with glasses in Ruhpolding, Win again

In German Ruhpolding, the individual race for men, the fifth stage of the World Cup began.

The men’s biathlon team of Ukraine completed the first race of the fifth stage of the World Cup with a good result. In German Ruhpolding, according to individual race results, four of our athletes scored points at the same time.

For the 20-kilometer distance, Ukraine is represented by: Bohdan Tsymbal, Artem Tishchenko, Taras Lesyuk, Ruslan Tkalenko and Denis Nasyko.

Ruslan Tkalenko, who finished 46th, was the only one not to enter the points zone.

All our other biathletes, thanks to good shooting, were able to show places in the third and fourth tens.

And the victory was once again won by the Norwegian Johannes Thingnes Be, who beat his compatriot Vetle-Syastad Christiansen by less than 10 seconds. The stage bronze medal went to a veteran from Slovenia, Jakov Fak, who was half a minute behind the leader.
