Nasyko: The main thing is shooting, I think I coped with it

Nasyko for the first time in his career entered the top 30 at the World Cup race

Ukrainian biathlete Denis Nasyko commented on his performance in the individual race at the World Cup in Ruhpolding.

“I’m happy with everything, because for the first time I’m performing at this stadium and today my personal best is here – right away in the top 30, and the result is so strong. It was hard to start in the last group, because the weather conditions are not very good, but thanks to the service – we managed to get an A plus, the skis worked well, we could fight. But the main thing is shooting, I think I coped with it.”

“I want to consolidate this result. For this I will work, and only forward. I want, of course, to participate in the relay, I always want to be in the forefront.”

Nasyko entered the top 30 for the first time in his career at a World Cup race, finishing 26th. The leader of the individual competition, the Norwegian Johannes Be, was the first to reach the finish line.

Further, the women’s individual race (January 12), the men’s (January 13) and women’s (January 14) relay races will be held in Ruhpolding, and the men’s and women’s mass starts (January 15) will complete the stage.
