The women’s biathlon team of Ukraine started the German stage of the World Cup with average results.
The Ukrainians were not satisfied with the good shooting and results in the individual race, at the stage of the World Cup in Ruhpolding, Germany.
The best of our team, as usual this season, was Yulia Jima, who finished in 20th place without hitting two targets. In addition to her, another Ukrainian woman, Anastasia Merkushina, also made points, also having two misses and 31st place.
And Italian biathlete Lisa Vitozzi won the individual race in Ruhpolding. She was ahead of two Frenchwomen – Lou Zhanmonnot and Jules Simon. Note that for Zhanmonnot this is the first podium in his World Cup career.
