Skier Natalya Nepryaeva told reporters about the conditions of the 6th stage of the Russian Cup, which was held in Syktyvkar.

On Friday, Nepryaeva won the individual 10 km freestyle race. The second has become Veronika Stepanova (lag – 25.3 seconds), bronze went to Anastasia Prokofieva (+27.0). A day earlier, Nepryaeva won the sprint in the classic style.

– How was the race and what are the tasks for the Syktyvkar stage?

– Display the best possible result first. I’m satisfied with the race, I feel good. Finally, I start to scatter, as usual around the middle of the season. I hope that I can also show good results in the next race.

– They talk about not very simple conditions in the race. Did it affect in any way?

– No, I think today there were just wonderful conditions. In terms of weather and track, everything is fine. Compared to the frosts before, today is simply beautiful weather.

– And when I found out that Veronika Stepanova will also run today. Did it spur you on in any way?

– I knew that from the start. On the contrary, I was surprised that it didn’t start yesterday, but there is an explanation for that. Of course, she is preparing for her races and focusing on them,” Nepryaeva told reporters.

Later Friday there will be a men’s 15k race.
