Ukrainian biathlete Anton Dudchenko commented on the results of the men’s relay race at World Cup in Ruhpolding. The Ukrainian national team achieved its best result of the season, finishing sixth.
“It was my first race after being sick. Basically, I’m happy with it. Perhaps somewhere I wanted to work better on the shooting range, but, in general, I am satisfied.
“Sixth place in the end is the best result so far this season. Of course, there is still work to be done, but as for this season, the sixth final position is a normal result.”
“Next we return to Obertilliach and will continue to train until moving to Antholz. Already in Antholz I plan to run a sprint, because I missed so much already. In addition, I have already recovered, so I plan to perform.”
On January 14, the women’s relay race will take place in Ruhpolding. The start of the race is at 15:25 Kyiv time. The World Cup stage will be completed by the men’s and women’s mass starts (January 15).
