Ukrainian biathletes did not qualify for the mass start
Individual leader, Norwegian Johannes Be won male mass start on World Cup in Ruhpolding. This is his second mass start victory of the season.
Johannes Boe, who was in first, scored one penalty loop at the last shooting range and was passed by a teammate Vetle Sjostad Christiansen. However, Be bypassed Christiansen on the finishing lap due to the best move and won the race.
Second place went to Christiansen. Another Norwegian finished third Sturla Legrade. Ukrainian beatalonists did not qualify for the mass start.
Recall that at the World Cup in Ruhpolding, Johannes Be won the men’s individual race.
The World Cup stage in Ruhpolding will end today with the women’s mass start. The start is at 15:45. Yulia Dzhima will represent Ukraine in the race.
