Ukrainian duet took third place in the single relay
Ukrainian biathletes Julia Gorodna and Stepan Kinash won bronze medals in the singles relay at Universiade-2023which takes place in the American Lake Placid.
The Ukrainians lost just over 40 seconds to the winners of the Czech team. On the last lap, Stepan Kinash claimed second place, but in the end, the silver went to the French team.
Earlier, individual races were held at the Universiade. Kinash and Gorodna took fifth places in their races.
The Universiade 2023 will last until January 22. Biathletes will next start on January 18, competing in the men’s and women’s sprints.
