The composition of the Ukrainian national team for the European Biathlon Championships has become known. Both the men’s and women’s teams plan to compete in the championship in Switzerland as the strongest athletes of the moment.
As Oleksandr Kravchenko, head coach of the women’s team, told biathlon.com.ua, our country will be represented at the competitions by: Yulia Dzhima, Anastasia Merkushina, Elena Bilosiuk, Anna Krivonos, Daria Blashko and Lyubov Kipyachenkova.
In turn, the team’s head coach Yuray Sanitra, in an interview with Suspіlna Sport, said that Artem Prima, Anton Dudchenko, Bogdan Tsymbal, Taras Lesyuk, Denis Nasyko and Artem Tishchenko will play for the men’s team.
Note that the 2023 European Biathlon Championships will be held from January 23 to 29 in Lenzerheide, Switzerland and will be the last start before the World Championships in Oberhof (February 6-19).
The continental championship program includes men’s and women’s individual races, sprints and pursuits, single mixed and classic mixed relay.
