Dorothea Wierer won the sprint at the Biathlon World Cup in Italy

italian biathlete Dorothee Wierer became the winner of the sprint competition at the World Cup in Antholz.

Wierer ran 7.5 km in 20 minutes 59.6 seconds without fail on Thursday.

Chloé Chevalier of France finished second, 2.8 seconds behind Wierer. Third was Sweden’s Elvira Oeberg (+8.7 seconds).

The men’s sprint will take place on January 20 at 4:30 p.m. Moscow time.
