Do you like the track here or is it just in good condition?
– We came down from the mountains, but I don’t think they affected my well-being much. We’ll see later, but from race to race we have to show the best result. Before the competition in Ryazan, I was sick, so everything didn’t go very well.
– What tasks did Mikhail Shashilov set for the training camp in Sochi?
– At the international level, there are many competitions in medium and high mountains. In Russia, we often run on the plain. Hopefully they’ll let us into Europe – so we’re getting ready. After Raubichi, we will again go to the mountains and organize a two-week camp there.
– Some biathletes wanted to run in the Russian ski championship. Do you have any ideas for performing there?
– I did not think about it until there were enough starts in biathlon. Races of biathletes and skiers would be very exciting, because there is a lot of excitement and it is interesting to compare biathlon to skiing.
– With which of the skiers would you do the relay?
– Specifically men? I know a lot of skiers – I like Sanya Terentiev, Maltsev and Chervotkin. I know they are all strong guys and can perform well. So I don’t care.
