Norwegian Johannes Boe won the sprint race at the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz.
Boe covered the 10km distance in 22 minutes 44.1 seconds, with one failure at the firing lines.
Second place was taken by the representative of Sweden Martin Ponsiluoma (+31.4 seconds. 1 miss). The third was another Norwegian Sturla Holm Legreyd (+37.3, no misses).
On Saturday there will be pursuit races for women and men. The competition starts at 3:00 p.m. Moscow time and 5:00 p.m. Moscow time, respectively.
