The team “Russia-1” led by the captain of the national team Sergei Glukhov became the winner of the international tournament WCT Nornickel Curling Cup 2022 in Dudinka.
In the final, Glukhov, along with Evgeny Klimov, Dmitry Mironov and Anton Kalalb beat the Russia-4 team with the score 7:6 (Alexey Stukalsky, Artur Ali, Petr Dron, Daniil Goryachev and Alexander Eremin). Third place was taken by the Russia-2 team, consisting of the core of the Russian women’s team (Alina Kovaleva, Yulia Portunova, Galina Arsenkina, Ekaterina Kuzmina, Maria Komarova).
A total of six teams participated in the tournament, two of which included athletes from other countries. The Nornickel Curling Cup World Tour stage has been held in Dudinka since 2016.
