Due to low temperatures, Saturday’s final races of the Open International Snowboard Cross Competition in Krasnoyarsk were canceled, the press service of the regional sports ministry reports.
The final races in mixed groups were to take place on Saturday in the Sopka cluster. The temperature in Krasnoyarsk is minus 37. Earlier, in Krasnoyarsk and four other cities of the region, an NMU (adverse weather conditions) regime was announced.
The competition in Krasnoyarsk took place from January 20 to 21. Members of the Russian national team and foreign athletes took part.
