German Herrmann wins pursuit at WC Antholz

german biathlete Denise Hermann became the winner of the pursuit race at the sixth stage of the World Cup, held in Antholz, Italy.

The athlete, who started sixth, 23 seconds behind the leader, finally completed the distance with two penalties in 29 minutes 53.1 seconds, winning.

The lawsuit money went to the Italian Lisa Vittozzi (+11.0 seconds, 0 misses), Bronze – Swedish Elvira Oeberg (+17.2 seconds, 2 misses).

Sprint Winner Dorothee Wierer who started first, showed only the 7th result in the pursuit race, losing 42.2 seconds to the winner and making 3 misses at the shooting range.

Later Saturday, the men’s pursuit race will take place as part of the stage.
