Biathlon World Champion Ekaterina Yurlova-Perkht announced that she planned to perform at the next Russian championship.
The Russian Championship will take place from March 27 to April 2 in Khanty-Mansiysk. Yurlova-Perkht, who turns 38 in February, is the world and European champion, seven-time Russian champion.
“I plan to participate in the Russian Championship in the spring, and then we will see,” Yurlova-Perkht told reporters.
At the end of last season, Yurlova-Perkht said she was not ready to make any statements about her career and would make a decision later. The athlete took second place in the “Race of Champions” in a duet with Peter Ivashko from Belarus at the fourth stage of the PARI Commonwealth Cup in Raubichi.
