Elena shot cleanly in prone but used two extra rounds in standing
Ukrainian biathlete Elena Bilosyuk shared her impressions of the relay at the sixth stage World Cup in Anterselva.
“Today there were no more spasms, it was a little easier. But, considering what opponents were in front of me and behind me, I had to work from the first meters and give my best from the start to the finish.”

“The relay is a special race because it is a team. If you failed your personal race, you failed yourself. And if you failed the relay, then you substitute the whole team, and here the points for the team … that is, the responsibility is four times greater than in a personal race.
“In fact, we are going right away. A few days later, the European Championship, ”added the athlete.
Bilosyuk shot cleanly in the first shooting range, but used two extra rounds in the standing position. The Ukrainian national team took the final ninth place – the best result of the season in the women’s relay.
The next competition for Bilosyuk will be the European Championship, which will be held in Lenzerheide, Switzerland. The women’s individual race will open the program on January 25.
