Olympic biathlon champion Anton Shipulin and world championships Matvey Eliseev on Saturday they held a master class for children at the curling tournament in Dudinka on the Taimyr Peninsula.
Near the Taimyr Arena, where the WCT Nornickel Curling Cup takes place, special shooting ranges were equipped, as well as a fenced area where Shipulin and Eliseev held an impromptu relay race.
– I was afraid of the cold on the Timer, but here it turns out that it is no colder than in Moscow. The emotion is there: the guys were able to feel part of the biathlon. Organized a relay race, showed the shooting range. You know, wherever you go, the main thing is people. And the people here in the north are just wonderful,” Shipulin told reporters.
