Ukrainian biathlete Yulia Jima became bronze medalist in the individual race on European championship in Lenzerheide, Switzerland.
Thanks to accurate shooting at the last shooting range, Jima managed to move up in the race from ninth to third place. She lacked only six seconds to silver. In pure time, Yulia showed the eighth result.
The second result among Ukrainians showed Anna Krivonos, she finished in 16th place. At Anastasia Merkushina three misses and 24th position.
Gold in the individual race was won by the Italian Michela Carrara, she has one minute of penalty, but the best time on the course. At the finish line, she was almost 50 seconds ahead of the German Lisa Maria Spark, who became one of the three who shot back without a miss.
