The Russian Freestyle Federation (FFR) reacted negatively to the statement of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on the admission of national athletes to international competitions, FFR President Alexei Kurashov told .

On Wednesday, the IOC said it would consider admitting neutral Russian and Belarusian athletes who do not actively support the CBO to world starts. Previously, in most sports, against the background of the situation in Ukraine, Russians were deprived of the opportunity to participate in international tournaments.

– We reacted to such a statement and such conditions, of course, negatively. We are citizens of our country and represent the interests of the Russian Federation in the international arena. Therefore, our opinion, Russian freestylers, on this issue remains the same,” Kurashov told .
