World Championship Winner Viktor Mushtakov and Olympic bronze medalist in speed skating Angelina Golikova are leading the results of two distances of the championship of Russia in the all-around sprint competition, which takes place in Irkutsk.
Victor Mushtakov won in the 1000 m – 1 minute 09.40 seconds, the second was Stepan Chistyakov (1: 09.77), the third – Ruslan Murashov (1: 10.11).
Mushtakov leads the first day of the competition with a score of 70.040 points, Ruslan Murashov is second (70.215), Stepan Chistyakov is third (70.495).
In the women’s 1000 meters, Angelina Golikova became the best – 1: 17.91. Irina Kuznetsova was second (1:18.45) and Elizaveta Agafoshina was third (1:20.24).
Golikova leads the overall standings – 77.385 points, second is Irina Kuznetsova (78.295), third is Elizaveta Agafoshina (79.540).
On Sunday, the sprinters will run the 500m and the 1000m.
