According to the rules, the teams were evenly distributed to participate in the semi-finals, then the first four of each race qualified for the final. In addition, two teams that were able to show the best time among those that did not qualify entered directly into the final race.
In the first semi-final, Ardashev’s teams drew attention, Sergei Turyshev , Ivan Cherezov , as one of the leaders, as well as the teams of Zhurova and Mikhail Devyatyarov Sr. as one of the most unusual. – Yes, very cool. Again, never raced in such races. I didn’t know what kind of partner I had, how he felt … However, in the final he gave all his strength and even made a small start, which allowed us to calmly be the first to reach the finish line.
