Gennady Bocharov, president of the Alfa-Bitsa sports club, said 3,000 participants had registered for the race so far.
– In 2023, the departure will not be general, but by age groups. As far as I know, around 3,000 people have signed up so far. Such a mass cannot be produced immediately, it is better to produce it in stages at certain intervals,” he noted.
Sergey Olnev, President of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Ski Competitive Sports Federation, spoke about the details of organizing the event.
– Since we’re in the open, there’s a decent wind tunnel here. Warm tents with heating for changing clothes will be organized. Hot meals too. The field kitchen will remain standing. And an entertainment area for children, for children. So I think the holidays will happen and everyone will have fun, ”added Olnev.
