Champion title – Norwegian Johannes Be
Ukrainian Dmitry Pidruchny finished fifth in the men’s sprint race at the 2023 World Championships in Oberhof, Germany.
The distance of 10 km Pidruchny passed without penalties and finished 53.4 seconds behind the world champion Johannes Boe. It should be noted that the entire podium was occupied by the representatives of Norway: the second was Tarja Be, the third was Sturla Legrade.
As for the performances of the Ukrainians, two more representatives of our country entered the top 30: Anton Dudchenko became 21st with one miss, Bohdan Tsymbal finished 29th. Artem Prima was 44th with two penalties.
The 2023 World Cup will continue tomorrow, December 12. Oberhof will host the women’s and men’s pursuit races.
