The athlete started the first of 112 participants and showed a time of 23 minutes 21.7 seconds with a miss, never allowing anyone to beat him in the future.
The money went to Norwegian brother Tarja Boe (+14.8, no misses). Third place was taken by another Norwegian representative, Sturla Holm Legrade (+39.9, 1 miss).
In total, five Norwegians entered the top 6 at the end of the race – Johannes Dale became 4th, Vetle Shosta Christiansen – 6th. Ukrainian Dmitry Pidruchny managed to “dilute” the company of Norwegian biathletes, who took 5th position.
Timofey Lapshin, who plays for the South Korean national team, showed the 26th result with two penalties, 2 minutes 3.8 seconds behind the winner.
