The coaching staff of the national team gives Dmitry time to recover
Ukrainian biathlete Dmitry Pidruchny will miss the individual race at the 2023 World Championship in German Oberhof.
The head coach of the Ukrainian national team Juraj Sanitra wants to give Pidruchny more time to recover before the single mixed relay. The men’s individual race will take place on February 14, and the single-mixed race will take place on February 16.
Earlier, at the 2023 World Championships in Oberhof, Pidruchny became 5th in the sprint and 8th in the pursuit.
Recall that Pidruchny had a successful surgical intervention in Germany in December. The athlete was absent from the team due to a torn meniscus. The biathlete in his first race after the operation took third place in the sprint at the IBU Cup in Obertilliach, Austria.
