Dmitry Pidruchny will not perform in the individual race at the Biathlon World Championships, which will be held in Oberhof, Germany.
According to Suspіlne Sport, the head coach of the men’s team Juraj Sanitra decided that the captain of the men’s team of Ukraine will miss the race.
At the same time, Pidruchny will perform in the single mixed relay. It should be noted that the men’s individual race will take place on February 14, and the single-mixed race will take place on February 16.
Therefore, the coaching staff decided to give the team leader extra rest, as Pidruchny missed a lot before the 2023 World Cup due to injury.
It will be remembered that Pidruchny at the World Championships in Germany finished 5th in the sprint and 8th in the pursuit.
