Head coach of the Russian women’s biathlon team Artem Istomine told Metaratings.ru that he was not surprised by the Frenchman’s words Martin Fourcade in favor of Russian biathletes.
Previously, Fourcade had backed the possible return of Russian and Belarusian athletes to international competitions, saying he would “be ashamed of his country” if Russians and Belarusians were not allowed to compete in the Paris Summer Olympics.

The last stage of the Russian Biathlon Cup will be held in Chaikovsky (Perm Territory) from February 16 to 19. The races will be broadcast live on the channel, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites. The first start on Thursday will be the women’s sprint, the broadcast will begin at 8:40 a.m. (Moscow time).
