Olympic silver medal biathlete Svetlana Mironova said she had no expectations before the start of the sprint race at the final stage of the Russian Cup in Chaikovsky.

The women’s sprint race will take place on February 16. For Mironova, 28, this departure will be the first of the current season, the athlete having previously missed races for health reasons.

Commonwealth Cup Medalist Tamara Derbusheva said Mikhail Shashilov’s squad held a training camp in Sochi ahead of the Russian Cup finals.
