RBU President spoke about the possible transition of Russian sport to Asia

President of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Viktor Maygurov told that the strongest biathletes in the world compete in the West, so it is better for the Russians to compete with them.

In January, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) said it would consider allowing neutral Russians and Belarusians to participate in international competitions that did not actively support the NWO. The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) then proposed giving athletes from Russia and Belarus the opportunity to compete in Asia, including the Asian Games.

– Do you plan to increase the number of countries in the Commonwealth Cup for the next season?

“We invite, but many countries don’t have enough athletes to compete in the international and Russian calendars, because the competitions are taking place at the same time,” Maygurov told a correspondent.

– Have the Chinese comrades been called?

– There have been small talks at club level – anything is possible.

– How do you see Russian sport going to Asia?

We are ready to compete anywhere and with anyone. But in our sport, the strongest compete elsewhere, and to grow professionally, you have to compete with the strongest.

The last stage of the PARI Cup of Russia takes place in Tchaikovsky (Perm Territory) from February 16 to 19. The races will be broadcast live on the channel, as well as on the websites matchtv.ru And sportbox.ru. On Friday, the men’s sprint will take place, the broadcast will start at 8:40 (Moscow time).
