Biathlete Edward Latypov admitted that he considered his career chase at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, in which he won a bronze medal, to be the best race of his career.
– If you hadn’t told me, I wouldn’t have thought that a year had passed since I had won a personal medal at the Olympics. Nobody gave me cake (smiles). Well, it’s been over a year now. Sure, that’s good, but I want to move on and look forward. I often remember this race, it was very interesting for me. Probably the best of my career.
I don’t watch the race, I watched it once or twice. There is nothing like not sleeping at night and watching it, – said Latypov.
The last stage of the PARI Biathlon Cup of Russia takes place in Tchaikovsky (Perm Territory) from February 16 to 19. The races will be broadcast live on the channel, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites. On Friday, the men’s sprint will take place, the broadcast will start at 8:40 (Moscow time).
