The Italian team won the women’s relay at the Biathlon World Championships

The Italian team won the women’s relay at the Biathlon World Championships in Germany.

The Italian national team played in the following composition: Samuela Comola, Dorothea Wierer, Hanna Aukentaller, Lisa Vittozzi. The athletes covered the distance in 1 hour 14 minutes 39.7 seconds.

The second place was taken by representatives of Germany. Vanessa Voigt, Hanna Koebinger, Sofia Schneider and Denise Herrmann raced for this team. They were 24.7 seconds behind the Italians.

Bronze was won by the Swedish team of Lynn Persson, Anna Magnusson, Elvira Karin Oeberg and Hanna Oeberg. Their backlog of winners is 55.7 seconds.

The world championship takes place in Oberhof and will end on February 19 with the women’s and men’s mass starts.
