I think the youngsters would look great at the IBU Cup and the World Cup. The competition in Russia is very strong,” Porshnev told a correspondent.
– When will Russia return to the international level?
– Nobody knows, but I would like it to happen next season. And we will certainly be ready.
Porshnev took 32nd place in the sprint on Friday at the sixth stage of the PARI Cup of Russia. On Saturday in the pursuit race, the 26-year-old net-shooting biathlete showed the 13th result, losing 2 minutes 38.9 seconds to the winner Eduard Latypov.
