President of the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) Viktor Maygurov told that the prize fund for the next season will depend, among other things, on the international calendar and the organization’s budget.
The price for the championship and the Cup of Russia for the 2022/23 season is 20.44 million rubles, the championship of Russia and all-Russian competitions (juniors and juniors) – 9.036 million, another 30 million will be paid by the SBR for regional federations for results in four age groups. Additionally, $40 million in prize money has been allocated to the BET Commonwealth Cup. Earlier, RBU executive director Alexander Pak told that the prize fund for the 2023/24 season will not be lower than the current one.
