Athletes and employees of the Krasnaya Polyana bobsleigh complex were not injured in the avalanche, according to a message on the Telegram channel of the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory.
The avalanche broke part of the iron bridge in Krasnaya Polyana and swept it an impressive distance. On February 21 and 22, the Sirius Sports Cluster track will host the Ivan Vasilievich Ivanov Memorial Cup competition. Earlier, two-time Olympic luge medalist Tatyana Ivanova told the track was undamaged.
