Olympic bronze medalist in speed skating Angelina Golikova won the 500 meters at the Russian Cup final, which takes place in Kolomna.
The 31-year-old clocked 38.34 seconds. Second was Elizaveta Agafoshina (39.11), third place was taken by Irina Kuznetsova (39.20).
Golikova won bronze at the 2022 Olympics over the same distance.
In the context of the situation in Ukraine, Russian athletes have been suspended from participating in international competitions under the auspices of the International Skating Union (ISU). The skating season will end at the competitions in Kolomna this week.
