Biathlete Karim Khalili told Metaratings.ru about the features of the super pursuit, where he finished second in the first stage of the PARI Russian championship.
On Saturday, Khalili, who started ninth, finished third in the Super Pursuit with three misses on the range, 7.6 seconds behind. The victory was won by Alexander Porvarnitsyn (one miss), the second was Belarusian Anton Smolsky (+0.8 seconds, 3 misses).
— These are dynamic and interesting races. Everything changes very quickly here, as in any biathlon race. It is distinguished by high speeds, because of this you need to keep a high pace before shooting, because there is no time to waste here and lose momentum. For us, this start is different from the regular races,” Khalili said.
Earlier, Khalili left the track during the mass start of the Russian Championships in Izhevsk after the third shooting range.
