The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation has approved the candidacy of Vasily Gudin for the post of head coach of the national team Russia curling for the next season, according to the Telegram channel of the Russian Curling Federation.
– The Federation congratulates Vasily Nikolayevich on his new position and wishes him success in his work, the achievement of all the assigned tasks and new sports victories of the districts, – the message says.
In May, the federation’s executive committee approved Gudin’s candidacy for the post of head coach of the Russian national teams. Previously, the specialist coached the Russian team in mixed doubles.
Petr Dron was previously appointed head coach of the Russian women’s team, Alexander Kozyrev will continue to work as head coach of the men’s team.
