Bolshunov on not taking part in the World Cup: “It was a shame at first, but now you don’t even notice what’s going on there”

Three-time Olympic champion Alexander Bolshunov told that he does not notice what is happening at the World Ski Championships, where the Russians do not participate.

The world championship takes place from February 21 to March 5 in Planica, Slovenia. The Russians do not participate in the tournament by decision of the International Ski Federation (FIS). On these dates, Championship Heights competitions are held in the Arkhangelsk region, in which the best Russian skiers compete.

“All the same, isn’t it a pity that we are not there yet?”

– It was a shame at first, but now you don’t even notice what’s going on there. Life is happening now here, with us, – said Bolshunov.

Champion Heights will end on March 5. On Friday, the men’s relay race will take place, watch the live broadcast from 10:40 Moscow time on the channel, as well as on the matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
